Kevin was great to work with – caring and knowledgeable throughout the entire sales process. I liked that he suggested an initial listing price that was at the upper limit of realistic; in other words, he gave me the chance to see if I could earn as much as possible on the sale, and he hired a photographer who did a beautiful job of showing the house to best advantage online. Kevin also arranged quite a few open houses to generate interest and to help him and his staff get a bead on what buyers were looking for. But then, when certain features of the house (such as a long, steep driveway) seemed to turn away many prospective buyers, he helped me to see that lowering the price a bit at a time could keep the listing active and move it toward a relatively timely sale. Though I didn’t always want to hear Kevin’s advice to lower the price a little more, I do think he helped me sell this property far more quickly than would otherwise have occurred, at 92.5% of my initial asking price. Meanwhile he saved me several thousand dollars on commissions because of his 1% fee. “In 2008, I was living in a small apartment and was ready to make the jump into home ownership. After talking with friends and co-workers and having heard great things about them, I reached out to Kevin and Cathie of Rockoff Realty.
